Welcome! I'm Dr. Rob England, Private Practice Owner, Therapist and Psycho-Educational Instructor here at Cleveland Family Therapy and Courageous Help Family Services. I offer Therapy (for adults and children), Assessments (basic Alcohol & Drug Assessments and basic Anger Assessments), and Psycho-Educational Classes (all of which are offered in-person and online). I focus on Anger Management issues (adult Anger Management therapy, basic Anger Assessments, and Anger Management Classes); I also focus on Child Therapy/Play Therapy (ages 3-7); I enjoy working with Parents on parenting issues and teaching parenting skills (in therapy and in Parenting Classes); & I love working with engaged couples in Premarital Counseling. Lastly, I offer basic Alcohol & Drug Assessments (Court-Accepted) and Alcohol & Drug Classes (Court-Accepted) on awareness and prevention, where I facilitate a non-judgmental safe space to help those willing to work on such issues. In any of the above, early intervention is best, but…it is never too late!

Overall, my passion is to see individuals and families strengthened, to see chains broken, and to see love reinforced. I am a Christ-follower, and this permeates all areas of my life including family. I believe that families are the backbone of the local church and of society as a whole. For clients who wish to incorporate the Bible and prayer into their sessions, I am happy to do so. While I hold to a Christian worldview, I am here to help clients of all beliefs with respect.

I have a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am fully licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (License #1758). As well, I am working on my certification in child therapy (Registered Play Therapist certification). I also have experience and training in Drug & Alcohol/Substance Use assessment and treatment. Lastly, I am currently certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for pre-marriage/marriage therapy.
